I co-authored with Dr. Chris Blazina the chapter “Working with Men and Their Dogs: How Context Informs Clinical Practice When the Bond is Present in Males’ Lives” in the Clinician’s Guide to Treating Companion Animal Issues. This book is a resource for mental health professionals working with clients who have animals in their lives and includes several chapters with content on animal companion loss, including this chapter.
