Empath/Intuitive Support

I offer tailored support for people who identify as highly sensitive, empaths, or intuitives. Having this orientation can mean that you take in more than the average person from your surroundings and the people around you. You may have been told throughout your life that you’re “too sensitive.” You may have mystery symptoms because you’re picking up on what’s going on with people around you.

We can work together to recognize the ways you may be affected by how you take things in, whether in relationships or at work. We can also work together to ensure you recognize your strengths and the special gifts you may have that go along with your added powers of perception. Recognizing how to set boundaries with people whose behavior is toxic to you is also important for sensitive people. We can work together on techniques to develop healthier boundaries to protect your energy and emotional state.

Workers in helping professions such as therapists of all types and those in healthcare often face feelings of “taking home” or continuing to carry too much of their clients’ or patients’ energy, symptoms, or struggles. I have received intensive training in (and personally practice) setting energetic and emotional boundaries and using clearing techniques to be able to do therapy work in way that is healthy and sustainable. Working with helping professionals on self-care techniques of this kind is an area of focus for me.

The work of Judith Orloff, MD, an intuitive psychiatrist and empath, has been instrumental in my own understanding of my strengths and sensitivities. I have completed multiple trainings with Dr. Orloff including a 12-week intensive course in 2021, as well as individual coaching sessions, and look forward to sharing with you all I have learned in support of a healthier life as an empath.
